Salt-Fired Work

This collection of salt-fired work was fired at the Saratoga Clay Arts Center during a one-week workshop with Jack Troy in 2019. What a magical week that was!  The work is varied, ranging from tea bowls to vases, crocks, bottles and more. In some, I played with form, others with clay body, and yet others with slip and engobe decoration. There have not been many opportunities for me to show my work during COVID, and I'm happy to share those that remain from this wonderful workshop with you here.

The piece Jack is holding in the photo was my favorite from the workshop and I've chosen to keep this one for myself.
